ISRO to Launch Three New Satellites for India’s IRNSS Next Year

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch three navigation satellites for its Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) by next year, according to a statement in Parliament by Union MoS for Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh.

The first satellite, NVS-03, is scheduled for launch by the end of this year, while NVS-04 and NVS-05 will follow at six-month intervals, ensuring the continuity and robustness of India’s regional navigation network.

These launches aim to strengthen NAVIC, India’s indigenous satellite navigation system, which plays a vital role in strategic defense, civilian navigation, and disaster management.
